MARC SAYS: LIGHT!

And light it was in fact two giant glowing suns. The most photographed, instagrammed and talked about show of the week – Marc Jacobs – closed the New York Fashion Week last night.
Some show indeed. Some venue, stage and parade of chic short-black-haired heroines in fur and sparkle dresses and pants and coats.

My favorite looks

Is it only me who thinks that those shag wigs looked so good on everybody?!

CLOSER LOOK

It wasn’t just another modern-minimalist collection, not that it ever is with Calvin Klein.
A bit military and heavy with buckles, strong padded coats and sharp lines but those dresses with fine green-blueish wool (love them) add a dose of softness and refinement.
And you know what is said about details…
(see below)

This one was a bit heavy but not any less appealing.

TREND SPOTTING: SKIRTS

As seen at Theyskens’ Theory

I think he has a great theory – those skirts teamed with knits and boots! Just add transparent tights and you are all set and a bonus – not cold!

And skirts at Belstaff – fine ruby reds plus one in pleated black leather option.
